Two-Day Stained Glass Christmas Wreath Workshop

Create a beautiful stained glass Christmas wreath during this relaxed and creative two-day workshop in Bideford, North Devon.

Using the traditional Tiffany copper foil method, you’ll learn how to cut and shape glass, grind the edges, apply copper foil and solder the individual pieces together. Choose from a wonderful selection of coloured and textured glass to create festive leaves, berries and decorations before assembling them into your own unique Christmas wreath.

This hands-on workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with previous stained glass experience. With two full days to work on your design, you’ll have plenty of time to develop your skills and create a substantial decoration to display and enjoy every Christmas.

The workshop is completely all-inclusive. All glass, materials, use of tools, expert tuition, refreshments and lunch on both days are provided—just bring yourself and your creativity.

What You’ll Learn

During this practical workshop, you’ll be guided through every stage of the stained glass process, including:

• Safe and accurate glass cutting
• Shaping glass using a grinder
• Applying copper foil using the Tiffany technique
• Soldering and assembling your design
• Creating a beautifully finished stained glass decoration

Your completed mini cacti will be mounted onto a piece of natural driftwood, creating a charming freestanding display that’s perfect for windowsills, shelves, conservatories, or as a thoughtful handmade gift.
