No previous experience is required. With expert guidance throughout the session, everyone will create their own beautiful handmade glass artwork to take home.

Fused Glass Workshop
Half-day or full-day
Discover the creative possibilities of kiln-fused glass. Design and create colourful suncatchers, coasters, decorative panels, jewellery, or seasonal decorations using a wide range of glass colours and materials.
Stained Glass Mosaic Workshop
Full day
Create a unique stained glass mosaic using vibrant coloured glass pieces. Learn design, cutting, and assembly techniques while producing a striking finished artwork.
Copper Foil (Tiffany Style) Workshop
Half-day or full-day
Learn the traditional Tiffany technique used to create decorative stained glass pieces. Your group will be guided through cutting, foiling, soldering, and finishing your chosen design.
Leaded Stained Glass Workshop
Full day or multi-day
Experience the traditional craft of stained glass panel making. Learn how to cut glass, assemble lead came, solder joints, and finish a beautiful stained glass panel.

Excellent day for all ages – teens to pensioners
We booked a private day for the three of us, a middle aged couple and Mum (82). None of us had ever worked with glass before.
Gigha welcomed us with hot drinks and cookies, which were on offer throughout the day. And a jacket potato with salad lunch provided.
We started with learning to cut glass in straight and curved lines which we all practiced extensively, before deciding what we’d like to make.
We all decided to make different things as there was so much inspiration in the studio.
Because it was a private session Gigha was very happy to accommodate this.
There was lots of glass choices in both colour and texture.
Once we had cut the glass we learned to remove sharp edges with the grinder and fixed copper tape around all edges. This was followed by applying flux and soldering the pieces together.
I’m delighted to say that we all left with a lovely piece of artwork that we are proud to display in our home. One gothic inspired mirror, one light Catcher cube and one flat soaring bird light catcher. All very different, but fabulous memories of the day.
If we are in the area again we will be booking another session with Gigha who is an excellent teacher and artist.

My husband, myself and grand daughters’ Nan were given a surprise to attend the mosaic glass workshop as his lordship’s 75th birthday gift. All three of us first timers, never having held the tools or glass before as a craft. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Seeing the pictures of our masterpieces, Gigha the patient tutor has people lined up to join the classes. Gigha has a lovely workshop with delicious lunch and refreshments.
