Create Unique Driftwood and Stained Glass
1-Day Workshop | Suitable for Beginners and Improvers
Combine the natural beauty of driftwood with the vibrant colours of stained glass in this creative and inspiring one-day workshop. You’ll design and make your own stained glass elements, carefully crafted to complement your chosen piece of driftwood and transformed into a truly unique piece of wall art or sculpture.
During the workshop, you’ll be introduced to the key techniques of stained glass making, including glass cutting, grinding, copper foiling, and soldering. You’ll then learn how to combine your finished glass pieces with driftwood to create a stunning artwork full of character and individuality.
Choose from a beautiful selection of coloured and textured glass to bring your design to life. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some previous experience, you’ll receive plenty of guidance and support throughout the day.
Your Tutor
This workshop is led by award-winning glass artist and experienced tutor Gigha Klinkenborg, who will guide you through each stage of the creative process in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Lunch & Refreshments
A delicious lunch is included and consists of:

Tea, coffee, fruit teas, biscuits, and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Driftwood Stained Glass Workshop
My Daughter and I attended Gigha’s workshop to make a Driftwood Stained Glass object, we had such a brilliant time. The workshop is very well stocked, all the equipment you need is included in the price plus a delicious lunch and lots of tea and coffee available!
Gigha has a wealth of knowledge and patience! She runs through each stage of creating your masterpiece and you can tell she just loves what she’s reached.
