Add a handmade sparkle to your Christmas celebrations by creating your own stained glass tree topper or festive table decoration.

During this friendly, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to cut glass and use the traditional Tiffany copper foil method to assemble and solder your chosen design. Create a beautiful freestanding Christmas tree, star or other seasonal decoration that can take pride of place on top of your tree, on a mantelpiece or as part of your festive table display.

This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with some previous stained glass experience. You’ll be guided through each stage of the process and can choose from a selection of festive glass colours and designs to make a decoration that complements your own Christmas style.

All tools, materials and refreshments are included, so you can relax, get creative and enjoy making a unique stained glass decoration to bring out and treasure every Christmas.

What You’ll Learn

During this practical workshop, you’ll be guided through every stage of the stained glass process, including:

• Safe and accurate glass cutting
• Shaping glass using a grinder
• Applying copper foil using the Tiffany technique
• Soldering and assembling your design
• Creating a beautifully finished stained glass decoration

Your completed mini cacti will be mounted onto a piece of natural driftwood, creating a charming freestanding display that’s perfect for windowsills, shelves, conservatories, or as a thoughtful handmade gift.
